Replacing Rubber Belt on Antique Brother Sewing Maching

This machine is as solid as a rock. It was bought by my Grandfather and given to my Mom in 1951. She was 8 and now I have it. The belt was loose so we bought a replacement from Amazon, ( ) But that belt quickly snapped. So now I'm replacing with a Singer universal belt.
