Inspirational ICU Nurse Undergoing Cancer Treatment gets Surprised by Co-Workers

Denise is a mother, sister, friend and compassionate ICU Nurse from Canton Ohio. She was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in December of 2019. Since then she has been sorely missed by her second family, the Medical ICU staff.

They decided something needed to be done.

On April 19th, 2020 they all decided that nothing was going to keep them from showing support to their friend.

One by one more than twenty-five vehicles paraded in front of her porch, where Denise and her daughter Miranda sat in awe at the amount of people that came to show their support.

Kim Dougan, Unit Manager of Medical ICU, stated "We just wanted to get everyone together so she could start her day with a smile. We know that she’s in this fight and that she’s all in. We wanted her to know that we’re all in with her!”
