History Harvest | Illustrations of the Past

History Harvest | Illustrations of the Past In this video, Zack Loehle, Communications Manager of the Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance, shares the story of his grandfather who spent his career designing magazine and textbook illustrations. How cool! What blasts from the past do you have to share with us?

The History Harvest is an open, digital archive of historical artifacts gathered from communities across the nation. The magic of history extends further than what you see in museums and read about in textbooks -- it comes from the memories and stories passed down through generations.

Through this project, anyone and everyone is invited to share videos, pictures, and stories of their lineage with us, which we can then share on our social media. Though we cannot be together in person due to COVID-19, this project keeps us all connected through sharing tales of the past from the safety of our own homes.
