Another sad day in the aviation industry as we loose yet another airline... South African Airways! Due many internal problems plus the ongoing COVID19 crises, the state-owned airline has end operations after 86 years of service :( But the Government of South Africa has stated they plan on creating a new flagship carrier to replace SAA. Although it is sad to see them go after so many years of service, the people of South Africa will see a new flag carrier very soon - and we all wish them the best of luck!
To say goodbye, I thought it would be appropriate to share some of my footage of SAA throughout the years (in JFK) and in Quebec City which was charted to carry the PM of South Africa during the G7 summit in 2018. ____
