Sky News Andrew Bolt says he had to laugh hearing “the guru of the left” Waleed Aly preaching about “the exactly wrong message” on global warning to come out of the deadly coronavirus pandemic. A report by Channel Ten’s The Project has looked into the impact of Australia's potential emissions reduction targets and the importance of renewable energy leading into the future following the coronavirus pandemic.
While Mr Aly also speaks of the "striking parallels" between COVID-19 and "humankind's other existential threat" climate change.
Mr Bolt said what would “excite Waleed” about the current COVID-19 crisis “should make you really worried about how global warmists will use this crisis to make things even worse than they are now”.
He said global warmists “want us to let experts boss us around over global warming as they do now with this virus”.
“So we must listen now to global warming experts the way our government's listened to the medical experts who exaggerated this crisis”.
Mr Bolt said politicians and pundits from the left want us to follow advice pushing for “green policies that would destroy jobs and businesses … and make us all even poorer than we're now going to be”.
“To add global warming policies and laws to what we've done to ourselves already, would be so mad that we'd deserve all the misery that would mean”.
