For the last few weeks, we've had plenty of people question if the COVID-19 pandemic would cause electric vehicles to die - or at best suffer greatly -- as people drive less, have less money, and oil has become insanely cheap.

But now it looks like the opposite will happen as the EU considers dropping all subsidies for fossil fuels.
