First off this is not new information for many of the veteran players. However, I get asked this question on how to Evade Heimdall's special 2 at least once a week. So I thought I make a video on it but I can assure you I am not the first one to do so. The problem with Heimdall is when he uses his special 2 it activates his true strike that means the energy wave that is sent your way cannot be evaded or as some people like to say using dexterity to avoid it. It just cannot be done so you usually have to just eat the block damage. If the special happens to be unblockable like in Alliance Quest than you just got to make sure to get out of the way of the sword swing and then hit block.
There is a way to get around this though and that is to disable his true strike. It is a bit tricky as the buff does not activate until he actually launches his special so you need something to do a Preemptive strike of the buff. Mephisto's imprison can do this as buffs can't be active during this imprision phase. Champs that can stagger can do it but you have to time it well so the stagger actually nullifies the true strike buff instead of another. So Hood, Juggy, Symbiote Supreme and so forth all have a chance to do this.
Claire Voyant is really sweet on this method as her special 2 after it is released forbids the opponent to activate any specials for 8 full seconds. So if you time it correctly you push Heimdall over his 2 bars of power and then bait out his special 2 attack. He uses his special 2 but since he has a buff immunity placed on him his true strike cannot be active.
