Items / Tools you will need:
-Underlayment, roofing felt or tar paper will work, or purchase something that is a bit thicker and will help make the hardwood flooring a bit quieter.
-Staple gun for the underlayment
-Belt sander if your subfloor has any unevenness
-Method to make some cuts; circular saw, miter saw, jigsaw or oscillating tool. Don't need all of them but again, they make things move faster.
-A framing nailer to start and finish the floor is necessary, you can floor everything with this nailer but a flooring nailer will give you better results much faster.
-Chalk like, tape measure, hammer and crow bar.
-Obviously you need some hardwood flooring. Make sure it has been in the room for 10-14 days to acclimate.
