Easing labour costs for employers so that they can better support their foreign workers

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Heng Swee Keat announced that the Government will waive the monthly Foreign Worker Levy due in April and provide employers with a Foreign Worker Levy Rebate of $750 for each work permit or S pass holder. These new measures aim to further help employers cope with the pressures on their cash flow and better support their foreign workers.

He was delivering the Solidarity Budget on 6 April 2020.
