You have to be smart and double check everything, especially when the price looks too good to be true. Make sure to check the measurements, reviews and the photos closely. Don't buy full length gowns for less than $35 - most likely it's not good quality, period
I purchased 5 different maternity gowns on Amazon and did a shoot and review for each style. The price range is between $23-$55, when designer gowns retail on average for $150 - $300
Here's the list of the maternity dresses used in this video:
1. Black Fit and Flare Gown (she's wearing size Small, but it's very stretchy) -
2. Burgundy A-Line Gown (we had size Medium) -
3. Emerald Green Gown with Slit (she is wearing size Small) -
4. Mustard Yellow Gown with Chiffon Split Train (One Size (more like Small-Medium), pretty small in the bust) -
5. White Lace Off Should Gown (we had size Small) -

Gear:
Main Camera - Canon 5D Mark IV
Lens used in the video - Canon 24-70 2.8 ii -
Behind the scenes video camera - DJI Osmo Pocket -
Inexpensive continuous light with softbox used in the video
- great for beginners or some quick and simple projects, but I wouldn't recommend it because of the weird greenish color tint, especially visible in the skin tones and highlights
I used to travel with those lights and did hotel boudoir shoots with them. They are light and easy to pack in a suitcase and take on a plane with you.
