There is a whole lot of shaking going on! God is in the business of shaking things. God shakes what He makes. He always has. He always will, and He’s doing it now. But do not despair because God’s shaking is a mercy – a severe mercy, yes – but a mercy nonetheless. God shakes His creation for a reason. But humans must take care to respond in the right way.
