50 patients escape from KMTC mandatory quarantine centre

Police have launched a manhunt for 50 people who escaped from mandatory quarantine at the Kenya Medical Training Institute facility along Mbagathi Road.
Videos shared on social media indicate the group scaled the perimeter fence while others escaped last night during the heavy downpour. This as the positive cases in the country rose to 296 after 15 new cases were confirmed.
